Ever wanted to enable the ability to specify a certain forum as an "answer" forum, where members can post questions and select the best answer given by the community?

This is similar to answers.yahoo.com, a very effective website where users can post questions and seek answers from other registered members.

Answering questions can get to be a mess, keep it organized and save yourself a bit of hassle when dealing with Q&A's.

As a webmaster, you already have enough on your hands to have to worry about answering questions sometimes, and need an effective way to do this!

Or maybe, you just want to let your community do it for you!

Go to your plugin manager, find the plugin for:
Answer Forums - Get Answer showthread_start
Hit the edit button and find:
$bbcode_parser =& new vB_BbCodeParser($vbulletin, fetch_tag_list());
Replace with:
$bbcode_parser = new vB_BbCodeParser($vbulletin, fetch_tag_list());
This worked to remove the deprecated error for me.

As far as I can tell, I'm not getting a database error when I try and edit anything. You might try and see if you can remove the plugin, backup your database, delete any tables for this plugin, and then reinstall everything fresh. Other than that, I simply don't know what would cause it.
